Ralph L. Laros, Sr., of Easton, PA, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026. He was 92 years old.
Ralph was born on October 13, 1933 on College Hill to the late Truman H. and Lillian Colver Laros, the youngest of their blended family. Ralph lived a long, full life, making friends wherever he went with his smile and easygoing nature. He was a proud father and is survived by his four children, Susan L. Dicker of Bangor, Michael P. of Easton, Ralph L., Jr. of Stewartsville, NJ, and Steven T. of Washington, NJ; one granddaughter, Kelsey Leigh, and one great-grandson, Carter, both of Pittsburgh.
Ralph lived his whole life in the Easton-Phillipsburg area, working at Ingersoll-Rand and Easton Printing for large portions of his career. Even though he formally retired from both places, Ralph never stopped moving or helping others: doing side jobs with his sons or for his daughter, cleaning up a neighbor’s yard, or making his own projects in his basement woodshop.
In addition to spending time with and helping his family and friends, Ralph loved summers at Melody Lodge in Seeley’s Bay, Ontario. Together with his late wife, Andi, they loved fishing, talking with friends on the screened-in porch, and helping with projects around the lodge.
Ralph was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Andrea (‘Andi’), his older brother, Charles, his Aunt Bessie, and many beloved friends and family.
Later this spring, Ralph will be interned at the Northampton Memorial Shrine in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Northampton County Historical Society, or honor his memory by taking a long Sunday drive with a loved one. The family extends heartfelt thanks to “Ralphie’s” kind, patient caregivers at Easton Skilled Nursing Center
